Hakim emphasizes Irraq's support of Lebanon and Palestine
Sayyed Ammar Hakim, the leader of Iraq's National Wisdom Movement, met with Lebanese refugees who have fled to Iraq and the city of Najaf, where he expressed condolences for the martyrdom of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the late Secretary General of Hezbollah.
During the meeting, Hakim underscored Nasrallah's significant role in shaping regional dynamics.
Hakim stated that their mourning reflects a commitment to continue on this path. He noted, "We believe that every ease comes with a difficulty, and regardless of how great the challenge may be, more opportunities will arise."
The leader further asserted that the resistance shown by the youth against their adversaries has prevented the enemy from gaining control over any village or area in southern Lebanon.
He emphasized that Israel's killings and destruction do not equate to victory, as the regime has failed to dismantle Hamas or release its prisoners. Additionally, Israel has not succeeded in returning displaced settlers in the north to their homes.
Hakim reiterated his country's support for Lebanon and Palestine on both political and popular fronts, urging the use of all available means to halt the ongoing conflict. He concluded by expressing confidence that the suffering endured will ultimately transform into a source of honor and pride for Lebanon.
